For me, this was the first of any of these Finals games that I did not loathe watching. The final score shows that it was a gritty game, like most of the last few, filled with fouls and broken plays, but I enjoyed it.

So, I wanted my first legitimate post to be a mock draft talking about my boy OJ Mayo and where he was going, but seeing as how the draft lottery was ages ago, and the actual draft isn’t for a while. That doesn’t seem so relevant anymore (though I am still working on a mock draft) and also was probably going to end up being just another reason to procrastinate or deterrent to me actually starting this thing off. After watching Detroit go down, a few thoughts/memories flashed through my mind and I decide to put pen to paper or I guess in this case finger to keyboard and get something done during a summer that started off wonderfully relaxing, but is unfortunately slipping into couch potato territory.
Anyways, in the past two days we’ve seen probably the two great franchises in the NBA go down. In sports, we often like to look at trends and swings in the league hoping to see something that allows us to predict the way the league is going to play out.
